Frequently Asked Questions

How are your garments made?
All That Effin Elf designs are created by me, in my workshop, then printed onto garments through trusted production partners. Each item is made to order rather than sitting in a warehouse gathering dust.

Are the designs really yours?
Yes. Every design in the shop is created by me, Eleri, for That Effin Elf. The printing is handled by fulfilment partners, but the artwork, ideas, and general chaos all begin here.

Why are items made to order?
Making items to order helps reduce waste and avoids overproduction. It also means I can offer a wider range of designs without needing to store large amounts of unsold stock.

Why might my order arrive in more than one package?
Some items may be produced by different fulfilment partners depending on the garment type. If your order includes multiple products, they may occasionally arrive separately and at slightly different times.

How long will my order take?
As a general guide:
Production time: 2–5 working days
UK delivery: around 3–5 working days after dispatch
International delivery: varies depending on destination.

Do you keep stock in your workshop?
Most garments are made to order through production partners. This keeps things manageable for a small independent brand and helps reduce unnecessary waste. 

Will the colours look exactly like they do on screen?
I do my best to represent colours accurately, but screens can be temperamental little beasts. Slight variations between screens and printed items can occasionally occur.

Are you a small business?
Yes. That Effin Elf is an independent small business run by me, Eleri, from a workshop where technology, animals, and a slightly feral amount of creativity all live side by side. 🐈‍⬛

Do you use AI?

Occasionally, AI is used in the background for things like promotional imagery or visual experiments.

But the designs themselves?  Always hand-drawn.  Every time.  They start life in a sketchbook, not a generator.

Returns & Refunds

Because all garments are made to order, returns and exchanges work a little differently than with large retail stores.

Each item is printed specifically for you once your order is placed. For that reason, we can’t accept returns simply for change of mind, ordering multiple sizes to try on, or selecting the wrong size.

This approach helps prevent unnecessary waste and avoids perfectly good garments being discarded. It also allows a small independent brand like That Effin Elf to offer a wide range of designs without holding large amounts of unsold stock.

Please check the size guide carefully before ordering to help ensure the best fit.

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect that's a different matter, please contact us using the contact page with your order number and a clear photo if possible. We’ll always do our best to resolve the issue and make things right.
